    I dont think the pay is good. And would you like playing the same game days and days for bug hunting?
    Even if you dont like the game?

    Game testing isn't like normal playing: you don't play the game, then tell your employers what you think about it. You have to write detailed reports, explaining explicitly every bug you came across, and other boring things. And to explain a bug explicitly, you have to recreate it again and again until you have enough information.

    Thats why the BEST job is working for a gaming magazine You get to write reviews.

    As for being a tester like Grandmas Boy...shit, I'm pretty sure you need to be very educated in programming and stuff to do that.
