I've played both. Some free ones are amazing but when you start p2ping for a game, it's a pain when you can't play because the time runs out on it.
Game time should go by how many hours you actually play and not the amount of days.

I can't pay for p2p and I'm not allowed to work until I'm 18 my parent won't let me >_> so yea I got screwed playing f2p and my parents won't pay for a game online anyway I'm going to be 18 in a month and get a job until then f2p plus these games are really good to pass time when your bored

Free for when there is nothing good on the p2p market, usually still end up paying for cash shop if the game is not a steaming pile of crap.
Nothing on the f2p market now. Warhammer has not found the magic balance of fun + reason to play. If they can patch things into something worth playing with 1.1, will be paying for another month of it.
Otherwise seems like we are twiddling thumbs waiting for Aion to hit some sort of beta.

I dont play any MMORPG's anymore. Although I admit some catch my eye. And I will end-up playing sone "newer" games. At the moment the ones that are released, are just..generic.

Another small reason is because i love testing out any new game that comes out p2p/f2p. O how i loved the release day of Deco online that was a bunch of laughs.

The only free MMO I really sank my teeth into was Knight Online.
Played through LOTS of free MMO after that, then I got into P2P.
P2P > F2P. End of story.
