Atlantica Online...their pvp/pk system?

I couldn't find anything on it, til I searched the forums.
I'm downloading the game as we speak, and now I hear there's nothing discouraging high levels ganking low levels.
...
Whiiich I'm not too fond of.
I don't mind if it happens every now and then, but it sounds like it's gonna happen every time I set foot off a town.
And you lose exp and money when you die! D:

What I'm asking is for you kind folks to explain their pvp system to me, as well as your opinions on it.

You dont get ganked, in fact, I dont think PK is even enabled. There was a bug a couple of days back, that allowed some ppl to PK on hainan island, but that got fixed, the those users got banned for pking. PvP is mainly through duels/challenges, and free league.

also through war.. u can be ganked by 3ppl and lost Eq.
