looking for strategy game!

i'd prefer something where my army can level up as the game goes along. not something where i have to build a new base every round.

i might play sins of a solar empire again... didn't get very far the last time i played it. is there anything like this with swords and dragons n stuff like that?

Have you played Warhammer: Mark of Chaos? I found that to be quite enjoyable.
