Barack Obama and Sarah Palin -- Mercenaries 2 update

Barack Obama and Sarah Palin will be getting their own videogame counterparts with an upcoming update for Pandemic Studios' sandbox third-person shooter, Mercenaries 2.

Pandemic Studios' Tom Stratton gave this statement to X-Play:

"Mercenaries 2 is a game seemingly ripped straight out of today's headlines and fueled with the same type of over-the-top action found in the best summer blockbuster films. It only makes sense we inject the game with a spin on current affairs. The timing was too good to let pass."

While having such personalities portrayed in a game that bears the name 'World in Flames' could displease the US president and vice president candidates, it sure is interesting to see Obama blowing a watchtower to smithereens while Palin hijacks an enemy helicopter. Although there is no official word on a release date for this update, one thing that both Obama and Palin, as well as Pandemic Studios must agree on, there’s no such thing as bad publicity.

i heard about this, just before halloween i belive, it looks very funny, now that palin lost i wonder if she'll beat pandemic with a seal club?

I think we have all wanted to see Sarah Palin grab a bazooka and shoot down a moose........i mean......a tank.....
