I'd love to try it, I'm just too busy with another game at the moment.

I'll definitely end up buying it, though. Not only does it look good, but anything with Mike Patton's seal of approval gets my vote.

nope. Only if you've bought the game do you get early access.
They can secure this because it's all done through steam.
Steam checks your account to see if you have bought the game. If you have, it will then add the demo to your game list.

Anyway, I got it downloaded, just need to get off work...

November 11th is the release date for the game, and the official demo. The demo let's you play one of the scenarios (No Mercy), but only 2 chapters from it.
