they dont bother me, but i would never be able to survive one. I like to be able to touch her, hold her, To know shes always there, but cant know that if your 300 miles apart.

Reputation: 12I would say it is up to you, if you wish to have a long distance relationship, go ahead, if u dont think its good, just dont
this is what i think bout long distance relationships:
Im sorry dude, but i know i havent and will never have a long distance relationship, and less if i meet my the girl in a MMO, i think it is stupid (excuse me if i sound rude, but im not trying to, this is just my opinion, so plz dont feel offended in any way) having a girlfriend from a videogame, and worse if you "marry" her on the videogame, also if i go away from my girlfriend, for example, i hav 2 go live to another place, i would break with her, as i just cant have a long distance relationship...
Reputation: 206I've been in a long distance relationship for the past three years and when you finally have that special someone around you all the time..it feels amazing. x3
Treat it the same as any relationship, it's definitely worth it.
I find they don't work out to good in the end, I'm the type that could never be in a long distance relationship but if your able to then that's great. I just find it hard to deal with not being able to physically be around the person.
Reputation: 64I've been in one for about 2 years(05-07) and even though I really liked the girl, it was chaotic and hard. Besides, it was expensive as hell(my ex once had a phone bill over over 300 €).
Also, you don't have SEX in such a relationship. :/
We had telephone sex(haha) but..uhh...I don't recommend it to anyone.
But what is worst, is the fact that you aren't near your partner to protect them. So many things happened in those 2 years and every time something bad happened to her I felt guilty.
Long distance relationships are pointless, if you're a teenager/child. They can, however, work out, if you (are an adult) got a car and money.
Otherwise the relationship will end, eventually.
Reputation: 218I was in two long-distance relationships previously.
They worked out well with no problems. When we broke up it wasn't for reasons appropriated to distance or nothin'. It was just like, regular shit... whatever "regular shit" is anyway haha.
Reputation: 12But ur long distance relationship is with sum1 u met in real life right??
Reputation: 13Long distance relationships are a strain on both parties. I recently got out of one actually, which wasn't that long distance, I got to see my girl once a week, but it wasn't enough for either one of us so we decided to call it quits. Her schedule was hectic and mine even worse there were weeks when we wouldn't see each other and that drived us nuts. Besides I think she was more of a sex fanatic than I amI honestly couldn't keep up.
Reputation: 55Personally I wouldnt be able to take it.
I cannot be away from my girlfriend for more than 2 days.
but if it's alright with you and you can take it.
Good luck =)
Best wishes.
Physical contact is a part of any human relationship.
Long-distance relationships can be worth it, though. :]
I say: go with your heart.
shes banging another dude on the side..........SCORE
Like someone already said, it takes a special relationship to last through that. I don't think I could handle one very well. I like being with the person I love most all the time and it would drive me up the wall.
I, for one, can't do long distance relationships.
I mean, I need some physical interaction here.
Reputation: 228I can't too, even though I would love to.
my ex left me before moving to canada. i knew she was moving, but she wont tell me when.
till the day arrive, i was helping out setting a event at a club, when she called me on my cell, told me she's at the airport, and thanked me for taking care of her the last 2years, asked me to forget her, and hope i can find a better person.
i got to hide in the loo to have some cool down time. things were never gonna turn out right in the first place as our families are miles apart in terms of status. but shes the only one for the past 7years who accepted me for who i am.
oh well~ its been more than 1year, never heard anything about her since then. and yeah, no such gal aooeared in my life after that. its back to loser mode for me~
still, even if we havent break up, from asia and canada, where shes permanently staying from then on, dont really seem feasible.
well ive had a friend almost kill himself over not being able to see his GF(two states away)...
so id rather stay away from those for that reason and various others.
