    Sorry.

    In short:

1)Keep going back and quitting WoW because of its popularity. Just want to fit in. Aint the community, and social aspect what MMOs are all about?
2)Is WoWs impact really something that is good for the MMO genre?
3)Will there ever be a real viable alternative? Can Conan/Warhammer/??? Put itself up there?

Well I can't make an opinion on Warhammer since I haven't played it yet, but I think that if Age of Conan fixes everything in their game, and they put in everything they promised before they released the game, then yes. I think that they would have a chance at being as popular as WoW.

    1) Depends on the person.

    2) Yes it is imo.

    3) yes, Although not to the extent of WoW.
WoW is already way too dominate in the MMO market.
tho that doesnt meen other MMO's are struggling in anyway.
its just that WoW is so mainstream compared to any other mmo.
go up to a few random people and ask if they know wow/conan/warhammer.
and they'll most likely only know wow, just because it so mainstream.

And then when i finished patching and logged in, the cities were crowded, it actually felt like a real city. And the excitement was so extreme. Hundreds of people running outside to the zepplin tower to Borean Tundra. Its just really difficult to describe.
thats the kind of experiences that keep dragging me back... but not for long. Im stuck in limbo
