Default Dofus - yea or nay?

I "know" Dofus for quite a while now and I always liked the battle system as well as the looks of it.
Unfortunately I never had the time to play this game long enough to form a view on it.
I'd be willing to pay the fee of 5€/month, if the game comes up to my expectations.
I'll be looking for reviews but I also want the opinion of my fellow OnRPGers.
    My main questions are:

How populated is the game how's the community?
    Grind bearable?
What is the PvP like? Is it fun or does it get boring fast?
Oh and what are the game's features?

Of course, the more you tell me about the game the better it is.

Thanks in advance and, for love of god, keep the flamebait out of this topic, trolls.

Maby Because he wants peoples opinions on the game before he gets into it? Anywas.. The only negative thing I've heard about dofus was from people who don't like turn based games, or don't like cartoony graphics. I for one, like both. But aside from that, there are so many things to craft, and so many different jobs and professions. Dofus is an awesome game, and is well worth paying for. I don't know to much about the PvP..but If I remember corectly, you get to pick between 2 sides, kinda like factions.. but I'm not 100% sure. Non the less, I've heard nothing but good things about the PvP.

It's cool but too much running for me and the slow turn based combat.

I thought it was great. Played it for a year nearly. Not much grind, community is pretty chill depending on what server you're on. Need a good guild to have a lot of fun though.

They have some class balancing issues. The Cra are op'd in the beginning but are severly underpowered in endgame and Sadiddas are op'd in general. Though I recommend trying out Enutrof who are pretty slow to level up until 26 but they are some of the best versatile fighters in the game.

The game is well worth it, if you're into that kind of game.

There's two factions that basically mean PvP against eachother. Mounts, professions.

The grind isn't bad at all. I got to lv 40 in one day, the max being around 120 or so.

The game is a bit slow when it comes to taking turns, but that's there the strategy comes in, amirite?

Max is way higher, it's like 300 something. I got to about 26 in a week by just grinding the beginner area with my Enutrof. (They are hard as hell to level the first few levels and without service, it's just even harder.)

I remember making a Enutrof as my first character. Something about that shovel made me choose it. It was pretty hard to level him up. Not entirely sure why i quit, might have been the quests where i couldnt find the required npc. Unable to finish quests really frustrates me

It's awesome, do play it. They have a lot of chars, lots of itens, the combat is really nice ( for turn-based fans ) and I think the pvp is the funniest part!

Don't play on oto mustam server though.

This game is really good IMO, it has a lot of options such as farming and the combat system takes good strategy to overcome things. Back in the say when Dofus was free I think it was closed-beta I had an escaflip or w/e its called (the cat) and it had an awesome move that gives high damage to everything on the map until everything was dead on one side. Pretty imba, but they nerfed the skill :P, still that was awesome.
