    chess is pretty complicated
i thought it was easy when i was a kid cuz i never said "check" or "checkmate". basically i was sneaking up on my opponent.

now i learn that u cant do that, and to win, u need to "trap" the king using 2 or more pieces. (a queen alone cant capture a king, unless its in a corner and the queen is in an adjacent space)

just play with every ppl u can play with, u will learn thru experience..
im pretty good at chess.. i was a varsity on my high school but never read books about chess, but i play with old ppl on streets every day, they seems not good at first,
but when u play with them, ud say like OMFG, theyre better than my coach!

its all true, and is based on my experience, old ppl playing on streets and parks,
they are all good, trust me,

    I play.

I don't memorize or use specific strategies, I just go with the flow. I'd say I'm above average with normal players. I'm sure I'd get slaughtered by the pros, though.

I'm so good at chess I beat Deep Blue. Twice.

Jk I'm awful at chess, I only play it occassionally to kill some time with friends. I once had this extremely elaborate checkmate. I had to plan like seven moves ahead, and have like three contingency plans in case my opponent moved in the way I didn't expect/want him to. Maaaan, that took forever. I almost wish I had a camera, since it was such an awesome checkamte.
