The 360 has a LOT of RPGs on it (and most of them are very good), so if you're looking for something modern then go purchase that baby. But there are a lot of really funky SNES games (such as Chrono Trigger!) so if you're looking for some more retroness then the SNES is certainly worth it.

Lol, the SNES wins, hands down.

    Get a 360 for 2nd place and a PS3 for 3rd.

Next year, there will be a swarm of RPGs coming.

    Spoken like a true fanboy.

Personally, I'd get the XBOX360, because RPG games can only last you so long. I have nothing against the PS3 though, I have both consoles and they are both excellent fun.

PS1 or PS2 should be up there, if SNES is allowed to be.
PS3 doesn't have many RPG's yet, but they should be coming up soon, considering how many PS1 and 2 had

    Beat that.
With the PS3, he can play not only PS3 games but also PSX ones. Such as FFVII, ****. Now beat that.
And I'm sure that Sony will make PS2 games(including RPGs) available for the PS3 via the Store, soon enough.
I wonder if the other consoles can offer that many RPGs as well.

Besides, the PS3 has a Blu-Ray Player, weeee!!

I'm a fanboy because of what?

It's a fact that you can play PSX games on the PS3.
It's a fact that the Playstation has a Blu-Ray Player
"I" think that Sony will release PS2 games via their Online Store
It's a fact that the PSX and PS2 have more RPGs than the Wii and 360 besides [maybe] the SNES.

I pity you for your simplemindedness.
