No offense but your teacher is a nut. I hope he stated "In my opinion.." at the beginning of each statement. It's irresponsible to be in a position like that to force opinions on students as if a fact. We are there to learn what is. No one WANTS to leave our troops over there. Hell I wish we never would have went over there. Whether you like it or not, many Iraqis ARE appreciative of what "we" have done. But that's all that's come from it and I don't think it's worth all of the blood, sweat, and tears that it's caused. What's done is done and it's best to just accomplish the mission. Nothing worse than doing it for absolutely nothing. You know?

Yes and no. A large part of the reason we're over there is because of the War on Terror. Deny that as you will, but even Bin Laden has acknowledged that little tidbit in his last few statements, Iraq is essentially ground-zero now.Okay...Take a look at this map:
