    Default Whats so dang special about iTunes

    well i was planning on getting a ipod soon seeing as every1 has them and they say itunes is so great...

    but god do i hate it, lately all i've been using was limewire to download and play my music...but limewire has been pretty bad lately since its slow and doesn't have the rare songs i want.

    so i figured i would just use a mp3 search engine to download my music from now on and use itunes...but man its a pain in the butt!
    iTunes is terrible, it always gives me a iTunes assitant setup pop up when i start it, its kinda annouying i know its in part of a error but i cant fix it...

    plus when i put my music on itunes i have no friggen clue where the mp3 is, i only found out where one song was when i was finished downloading it to itunes and went to existing container and found out the mp3 was among a buncha random files in the temp file section..

    its hard to organize using itunes plus itunes is slow as heck, i have pretty good computer with 6gigs yet when i go to itunes shop its still sluggish.

    so anyways, i dont get how so many people use it and like it, is there a trick to it? cuz im planning on getting a lot more songs and cant find a way to organize and keep my songs..

    Don't use it then if you hate it that much.

    Well, he is in the confused stage of finding out if it's his fault or the programs, lol;
    The main drag is the speed, but that could be worse (WindowsMediaPlayer).

    @OP: I would suggest just try out winamp.

    If you like it better, you probably are not the itunes-type of person.

    then just use it to sync your ipod.

    i personally think iTunes is great. it's my most used application, it isn't slow. Perhaps if you were organized with your music everything would be simple to find.

    Just use another player, like Winamp, and just use iTunes for syncing your iPod.
