    Well, he is in the confused stage of finding out if it's his fault or the programs, lol;
    The main drag is the speed, but that could be worse (WindowsMediaPlayer).

    @OP: I would suggest just try out winamp.

    If you like it better, you probably are not the itunes-type of person.

    well im trying to get used to it cuz ima get a ipod, and its easier cuz it would sync...

    but even if i dont use itune what do i use, i dont wana use limewire anymore...

    i just want a decent audio manager

    yeaah whats up with these companys thinking we want some fancy audio player..i mean its cool for the first few times but thats it.

    then just use it to sync your ipod.

    i personally think iTunes is great. it's my most used application, it isn't slow. Perhaps if you were organized with your music everything would be simple to find.

    Just use another player, like Winamp, and just use iTunes for syncing your iPod.

    I like itunes also. i had loads of already downloaded music so i just made a folder on my desktop and put them all in there. so whenever i download new music it goes into that folder then i import the whole folder again since it doesnt reimport the ones it had already

    Solution:
    Download from LimeWire/Torrents/Whatever.
    Use iTunes just for loading songs onto your iPod.
    For listening while on the computer, get foobar2000.
    fb2k > pretty much all players
    For video, use VLC player.
