Default Should I buy a DS?

I've got $190 and I really like the DS Lite. The only problem I see with it is that I'm going to have to drop $30 to get the old DS browser from Nintendo.com. I know the DSi is going to come with the browser and the cameras, but I can't really justify spending $70 more just for those features.

So do you all think I should go down to EB Games and pick up a DS Lite (cobalt probably). If so what games should I buy? I'm thinking about Mario Kart and the Korg synth. Zelda and Animal Crossing are also up there. Are there any 3rd party non-$30 games worth getting? Any bargains?

I'm kind of wary that only the Nintendo games are only good. Nintendo has a tendency to keep all of their games expensive.

Spend $120 for the DS, you might even be able to find a new one cheaper at Ebay. Save yourself the money if you can.

With the other $70 do yourself a favor and get a CycloDS. It will be the best purchase you've ever made.

    Wait for the DSi.

Or if you can't, buy the DS and get Mario Kart DS, or Animal Crossing.

Animal Crossing is a good game.

DSi. Proper homebrewing? I think so.

The Japanese have already started cracking the suckers. Soon you'll just need some MiniSD cards to store your games and stuff.

Plus, it has some more menial features. Like, music playback, for instance.

    ^No.

Don't do it. PSPs are money drainers.

That, and the 3000 was just released. If you're unlucky enough to get a 3000, then you won't be able to mod it for Homebrew for a while.

It hasn't really drained my money.

I bought one and 3 games. After that, I never spent any more on it.

Once you hack a PSP, the world is yours.

I'm actually thinking of selling it after I play the Resistance coming out for it.

DSi is getting the Internet BRowser free, so that saves you $30.
