PS2 Co-op games, PSP RPG games

I need some! D: My boyfriend wont stop *****ing about wanting to play games with me, so I want to get him a nice co-op PS2 game for christmas that we can play. I've played a good deal of them, but I'm hoping theres some gems that I've missed.

I also could use a new PSP RPG or two to keep me occupied while I'm at work. I just got Wild Arms, beat FF tactics and Star Ocean.

If anyone has some recommendations, that would be great. n_n

Are you looking for a possible Co-Op RPG for PS2? Or just any old Co-Op game?

Anywho, good PS2 RPGs I've ran into are Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4, Kingdom Hearts, Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories, Tales of the Abyss, Rogue Galaxy, Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga and definitely Xenosaga.

EDIT: For PSP, I liked Jeanne D'Arc, Popolocrois and Disgaea.

And try dynasty warriors, they are great co-op games.

Any beat em up is usually 2 player co op.

A fun third person shooter co op is star wars battlefront 2.

Lego star wars is great.

Gitaroo man?

Gauntlet is of course really good.

The adventures of cookie and cream is a really quirky gem i'd say.
You both use one controler, each person using a stick.
Interesting, with plenty of swearing involved.

If you two both like Guitar Hero, that's one of the games I always have fun playing with my friends.

If you feel like dishing out quite a few bucks, you can get the Guitar Hero: World Tour set, with the instruments and mic if you have a few more friends.

dynasty warriors, timesplitters, red faction, a personal fav of mine was the last splinter cell game for ps2...it has an intense co op mode.....

as for psp..the only rpgs i play on that which i like are ps1 classics

Well lets see.. I've played timesplitters, dynasty warriors, gitaroo man (<3 that game), gauntlet, and battlefield 2 out of the things listed here. He's also a little bit of a nub with games.. prefers easier things <.<.

I already own rock band 2 but he doesn't like rhythm games.

adventures of cookie and cream actually looks pretty fun, I think I'll go pick that up n_n. I'll look into splinter cell as well.

Anyone have any more suggestions? =]

Champions of Norrath. It's like everquest for the PS2 and theres a sequel. I recommend it it's really fun.
