Default Need a new GFX Card...

...for around 100€ (like 140$) (PCIe of course)

So far i found the Leadtek PX9600GT Extreme, which has nice specs.

    720 MHz Core Clock
    1800 MHz Memory Clock

    For around 99 Euro.

    Any better suggestions?
Don't recomment the 8800GS or GT please, the GS is too loud and the GT too hot for my taste =P

Going to assume you're european, I don't know the prices their in relativity to the US/Canada but...

You should really consider the 9800GT(found for as low as ~$120 in the US) over the 9600GT, plz dont ***** about the heat, the 9800GT doesn't run that much hotter than the 9600GT and is light years faster.

the non-overclocked "normal" 9800GT got "only" 600 MHz Core clock, and is therefore slower then the OC'd 9600GTExtreme(which is overclocked already).
buy the 9600, great performance for low cost.

    LOL, WOW. Fail.
Not going to comment any further on your stupidity here. 9800GT is faster than the 9600GT, no questions asked.

Oh and a GTX 280 has 602mhz clock speed, so I guess the OC'd 9600GT is faster than the GTX 280 too huh?

then you might want to tell me why the 9800GT is lightyears faster then the OC'd 9600?

really? mine run @ 850 MHz overclocked.
oh and a GTX280 has like 2400MHz memory clock. i dont need to tell you why it runs faster, do i?

Dude, go an learn something about memory and gpu timings before you try to argue with me okay? ;/
Get over it, it's the overclocked version, which has more power then a normal 9800GT, and is therefore better in terms of price - performance ratio.
You're talking about the normal 9600GT, the OP is talking about the extreme edition. your link doesnt mean anything since they've tested a normal version from a crappy manufacturer

The overclocked 9600 offers more pixel pipelines and vertex shaders then the 9800gt, plus more core Mhz.

Are you STUPID? PIXEL PIPELINES AND VERTEX SHADERS? LMFAO.
Cards don't have "pixel pipelines" and "vertex shaders" anymore. GTFO of the past, ever since 8 Series they have been using stream processors.

And in this case, the 9800GT has 112 vs the Leadtek PX9600GT Extreme's 64.
    Now will you stfu?

    the basic clock of a gtx280 is 640, so its 640 to 850. (+ 210)

not much of a difference huh?
    lol.

kk stop lying and stfu plz.
    9800gt > 9600gt
GTX 280 to 850 mhz = impossible, oh and i didnt highlight it but look at the stream processors...64, whadda ya know?

Yup its worth the money, but the 9800gt is still stronger. Instead of coming up with a personal attack provide proof ok? I just showed you the screenshot. The stock core clock of a 9600gt is 650mhz. fail more plz.

The 9800GT is faster than the 9600GT.
    A stock 9600GT is 650mhz not 600mhz.
    Overclocking a 9600GT from 650->720mhz is easy.
Overclocking a GTX 280 from 602-850mhz is like impossible.
    Got it?

So stfu or provide info. If you can't gtfo. ggnoRe
