question
I probably left one of those multiple socket things on at work, it's closed for 5 days because of Christmas and I have this shitty feeling that it might burn and that I may get the blame of it, I'm not even sure if it's left on, someone else may have turned it off but still. Is it possible for it to burn just like that? It has some tv's (probably on stand by) and 2-3 cd-players plugged in on it.

you might want to call someone who has access to the building to check just in case, you may get chewed out for wasting their time but it's better than a lawsuit for burning it down

Today. But our multiple socket thing at home is also on all the time, we never turn it off and nothing ever happens and I don't know what might cause a fire.
