Make sure you get a PS2 one ^^ lol my friend had to do this to play this awesome Bleach game on his Gamecube.

lol well thats what me and my friend thought until his came it just allows you to play it because the way the discs are coded are different for different regions (like for PS2, NTSC is US,NTSC-J is Japan, and PAL is Europe). So basically, it allows you to play it, but it doesn't translate it

Get a mod chip, it's the best bet. This way you can play bootleg games, AND Japanese games, or bootleg Japanese games.
