need help with Steam

i got The Orange Box today and when i install steam and update it it looks like thisanyone know how to fix it and i'm installing it on Windows XP

The small box is remember password.
Left wide box is login
Right one is cancel?
Then the two boxes below,
The top is register?
Bottom is forgetting your password.

Reinstalling is always a good thing to try.

install steam from site not from the orange box

theres an issue with your windows and how it is displaying text.
Do you have any programs that modify the look of windows?
If not, I suggest running some scans and seeing if anything is screwing it up.

But basically, this is most likely not an issue with steam, but with windows.

ok i've installed form the site and nothing played with the displaying text scaned and nothing change
