For everyone planning on seeing "the spirit"...

First of all I want to say IM NOT SAYING YOU SHOULD SEE IT! I'm just telling you what you should expect, seeing as the TC ads are extreamily missleading. I came in expecting a fast pace adrinalin rishing action movie like the dark knight with the style of sin city. I was thurowly dissapointed, because what i got was something like an omonous virsion of last summer's live action Speed racer. The movie tried very hard to act like a comic books. This is alright in a since, but when Samuel L Jackson is taking his angre out on one of his henchmen with a toyhammer sound in every punch, it's hard to take the film seriously. They add a bit of romance in just enough to keep oyu interesting and to give the plot a small bit of depth, but the whole story line comes away a bit...meh.

I'm not saying the movie's not worth a try, the art style imo is amazing. But for gosh sakes, DON'T COME IN EXPECTING SIN CITY 2! or you'll come out dissapointed like me. Come in expecting a somewhat humurous expieriance with some good action scenes here and there, and you might find it enjoyable.

hahah it was pretty cliche. You know the found the perfect girl, did something to make the girl piss but then done something amazing to get the girl back kind of cliche.

But I rate it a 8/10.

I watched the spirit. I find it entertaining.(SPOILERS) SPOILERUntil I saw Eva Mendes photostat her own *** and Jackson wearing a nazi uniform and samurai clothing. But nevertheless, it is worth to see. How I hate that the Octopus died being killed by a policewoman. Gawd, that's just sad. Why must some normal police woman kill the villain? It was supposed to be the Spirit who killed him or something.

But the policewoman is cute though. I'd do her.

And the fighting scene is entertaining as well. and 'Come on! Toilets are always funny. And 'I got 8 of everything'

Gawd, I like the octopus.

yeah it was good even the title seems little pervert there are lesson you will learn there. however some daring scenes.

as long as there is sex in the movie, i DGAF the story and the action

actualy there's no sex. 3 second butt, but no sex. And there realy isn't all taht mutch action either. And the story is sub-par, but it's still worth checking out if you've read the comics i guess.
