Anyone still playing savage 2..?
I downloaded it when it was posted here.. and did the tutorial then I never played it online... but I was bored today so I went online and I love it lol.. It crashes sometimes memory leak and my super computer can only run the game on lowest settings but.. its a fun game. I think I will buy premium account or whatever.. for the bonus stuff. I will probably play this most likely till january 22nd when darkfall comes out..

Ranged = Weak weapons but.. still lets you damage at range.
Close combat = a few hits to kill a person
You can run which runs down your stamina, you can dash or whatever at person also. Then you have skills and one person is the commander who builds the buildings and stuff for the others to protect and try to kill the enemies buildings. Theres also officers who can lead a squad thing and make portals for there squad members to teleport to after dying.
Each game your character starts at level 1 and you level him up by gaining experience. I love using savage with strength/hp and then when the commander builds the building I start using legionaire which is when I start owning.. I got 8 kills in one life earlier, Theres also a healer class, seige ram things, and even a builder class who can repair rams/buildings and build turrents..
I really dont know why this game isnt popular its really fun :/

It's not super popular mainly because of its learning curve and its focus on teamplay. Notice how online English games that are super easy to play, super easy to learn, super easy to pick up and play, and super easy to get super ph4t with little effort and get super L00Tz by yourself are the popular ones.
This is saying this game is a niche game and caters to the hardcore gamers, and may be too difficult and unrewarding for a casual gamer.

Okay, a memory leak is a result of poor or incomplete programming. What happens is your system starts dumping data all over the place because well, I don't know why. End result is your system becomes very laggy and/or unstable.

I still play, it's a great game. The bad thing is that being a good commander is pretty difficult, and teamates blame you harshly if you were fairly clueless at what you were doing. Most importantly a really good game requires 2 good commanders on each side, that's why you don't always get good games (sometimes the commander just gives up on your team in the middle, it's really sad lol). But still, on average as long as your commander knows the basics, it's usually fun to play, regardless of winning or losing.

i stopped playing, having a hard time killing my opponents >_< and its tiring but not as much as gunz.

The game wasn't too bad but I had to quit because my computer just couldn't handle it.
Are you sure your super computer can't handle it since my computer is pretty bad (1gb ram, geforce 6150LE) and I could still kind of play on lowest settings. There's just major lag if I'm standing in front of an explosion.

Well on low settings I can run it perfectly.. but I can run every top game in the world at highest settings.. except this lol. Maybe its because there was so many people at the part.. dunno.. I have 4 gigs of ram, and good everything else.. since I custom built it to be ownage with games and it has.. Maybe if I had restarted my computer before it would run better since I have played many games without restarting the memory mightve been on the games still or something dunno.. anyway
Yeah when the 2 commanders are both good its very fun.. I had my most fun game earlier where at start we were winning but.. had a few mistakes and lost 2 gold mines in a few minutes apart then eventually we were only at our main base.. but we defended it for like 30 minutes from siege attacks and stuff that was fun defending attacks from 3 sides so well..
Bad commanders can make you lose easily.. On the last game I played our commander wasnt very good.. I was keeping the enemy away from 2 bases by myself and the commander couldnt even defend our main base.. with all the other ppl there protecting it.. I even was earning more money than the commander and donating it lol. (Maybe it wasnt his fault but.. yeah if your losing usually you blame the commander lol.. but I do think its his fault)
I really want to try commanding but.. I dont want to suck at it and get voted off and yelled at like some of the commanders who were being bad were lol.. :/

Don't worry guys, the new melee is enabling even casual gamers to get into the game, the learning curve has flatten abit, the new melee system is easy to learn but hard to master. See you all in-game, they still haven't made their big announcement, wait for it and you will see an influx of new players
