I just bought Team fortress 2 off of amazon from my gifts card!! is this game still populated? and it is B2p correct? Also, throw anything else out there about the game i should know or that you want me to know. Thanks

It gets the occasional updates. Updates that people look forward to such as the class updates where a class gets more weapons through achievements.

Well theres a different types of maps in tf2. There is Control Point maps where usually red team has to defend their points from the blue team within a certain amount of time. Theres also another type of control point in which the first team to capture all the points win. There is Cart maps where you have to move a cart on a railroad track to the end by staying near the cart (pretty hard for blue team IMO).There is the standard capture the flag mode (self explanatory). Lastly theres the new arena mode where teams just duke it out last team standing wins.

Also a little warning about the game, all classes have specialty and weaknesses. There is no balanced class. As much as you would want a class that would just have a straight up machine gun, there will never be one. Steam made the game so that you pretty much NEED all the classes to win.

I don't know about that, but the game is REALLY fun if you have a headset or w/e.
If you do, just talk to the people on your server, and have fun, thats what I always do, and I ALWAYS have fun, being stupid, making plans, shouting at medics to go invuln and all that nonsense.
Trust me, you got a good buy
