    Default The reggae thread

Gotta introduce you all to something that isn't metal. Thread in memory of Necreon.

10 Ft. Ganja Plant - Born Free

Junior Murvin - Police & Thieves ((The Clash covered this song and it has been in many movies.))

    King Tubby - Flag Dub

    Anyone else listen to reggae?

The newer Reggae today really sucks.
Back then, you can sway to it and just groove.

Today, all it's about is dancing and having sex.

I was never really a Reggae fan but I have listened to Bob & Damian Marley, Sister Nancy, Movado, Vybez Kartel, Sean Paul, Anthony B, Beanie Man, Mr. Vegas, Busy Signal and others.

Everyone "loves" Bob Marley. Generally they can't name a single song.

Jakuza, you're talking about reggaeton and dance hall. Both gay.

Sweedish Fish, though tasty, are tough as hell, lol.
And Peter Tosh is awesome. Loved his solo in "Get Up, Stand Up."

Oh, yeah, almost forgot Freddie Mcgreggor.

    Also, "Africa, Here I Come."

No, it means we look alike. Does it mean all Asians look alike?

Man, the only reggae/rock group I like that's recent is... 311.

311 sucks. If you're gonna go that route listen to some OPM or Sublime. I have this argument with one of my friends everyday.

The Clash just covered some reggae songs. They're just an exceptionally good punk rock band.

    Capleton - Stop Them
