    Default PCI vrs AGP question (please help)

    Here is my Issue.
    I have an AGP computer.... Yaa...
    Playing LOTRO
    Current Card is Gefore FX 5950 Ultra with 256mb GDDR2 Memory
    Thinking of getting Gefore 8400 GS PCI 512mb GDDR3. Will this be betrter or not.
    I have 2 GB memory
    Win XP and P4 OC to 3.8 GHZ

    Feedback is much appreciated

    wtf? thats not an issue...agp is pretty old.. i suggest u crush it with a hammer and buy a nice pcie computer


    too poor? well then buy a 6800 agp, its rather expensive tho

    I could sell you a almost brand-new XFX 7800 GTX extreme edition, one of the fastest (if not the fastest) AGP card. depends on where you live ;o

    Can i have a useful reply please X_X. I need an actual answer to the question. I was looking at a 3680 or 3480 512mb ddr3 agp card on new egg also

    i repeat, 6800gt agp. it was the SHIT back in the days, everyone had it to play source (cs)


    3680?.... dont u mean 3650. that card is great too, you can play dx10 games with it.

    if you decide to buy a PCIe card, you'd need to buy a new motherboard too. and a new PSU. and new HDDs (if i'm not mistaken)

    PCIE-E > AGP > PCI

    If you don't have a PCI-E slot get a new computer plz. AGP and PCI are a waste of time.
