Windows XP 64 or Vista 64?
well, i bought myself a new comp with a DX10 card, dualcore cpu, 6GB ram and some other stuffs.
my question is, should i stick with windows XP 64 or use Vista?
Do i really need the DX10 effects for the actual high end games or am i fine with DX9? And what about the dualcore support? Do dual or even quadcores work fine with win xp 64?

With all of that RAM, I'm sure you could run Vista fine, if I may ask, what graphics card do you have?

you shouldnt have any problem running vista with that rig

why do you ask the obvious... thats like saying "can i run counter strike? my rig is 280gtx 10gigs ram 4.0ghz yadayda" u obivously know the answer.
however if you REALLY had no clue which i doubt,
its fine either way. vista will eat up a little with dx10 and will see an fps different but with the card you have, theres nothing to worry.

ya i got some clue about hardware and stuff, but my question was more like:
does vista run actual games better then xp64?
does xp 64 support dual/quadcore cpus equally good like vista does?
