Well, im in an MMO standstill ATM and I come here awaiting an awnser

Im looking at ROM and I wonder why it was hyped , it looks .. "BLAH" give me a reason why I should play ?


Im thinking about going back to Rakion . however I doubt it'll happenen

Because you might enjoy yourself.

Just don't presume that just because you do, that makes the game good to anyone but yourself.

See, I wish things were that simple with me LOL. I have to research study know a game inside and out before I even think about downloading it. Its something I've done with almost everything in my life. Meh.


Downloading RoM trying SMT again , going to install a couple of FPS's and I hope this will keep me busy.



Edit: despite the hatred for RoM I think Ill enjoy it I LOVE dual classes and if I have a house I can tease and play with when Im bored I might have found my game.


Question , can you TAB to swich mobs ? I hate typical PnC.


If not , can you think of any games that DO have the TAB feature ?

i play atlantica online.. it has an item mall but i survived 70 levels without using it or even looking at it.. hahah

Shin Megami Tensei Online, for me it's the only good game around. Everything else is bugged/botted/boring/nothing new

-Demon catching / fusion (probably the only reason I play it, I love the fusions, played DQM:J for ages because of it).
-Not point / click / skill spam


Don't get me wrong, the game has faults, glaring faults... But not as many as others.

ROM is basically WoW for ppl who can't Pay for WoW.

...i can't consider coming to any games i play cause all i play is WoW

I wish I can tell you it's because RoM plays pretty much like WoW but I can't because I have never played WoW before... Although, RoM doesn't have summons, combat pets, or air transportation, yet or never will.

Hmm.. I guess people are just desperate for an "okay" game, that's why. Pretty much like if this is the last day you will ever get to play MMORPG, you would be down with any MMORPG possibly, maybe even AdventureQuest if you only have that choice... RoM has nothing original... but that's okay because classics are good too (WoW is popular, even if it is just the same magic and sword and dragons combo), except for a portion of the population.

I didn't like RoM because it's grindy. I mean, it's just my opinion because everybody has their own point of view for grindiness; but honestly I just don't see where this game can get me to after all the questing and grinding, so I gave up. There are a lot of unpleasant factors in the dual class sytem too.. such as you cannot use sword even if you are a priest/pally (yeah, I know you can with a pally primary, but it kills the purpose of making a blade priest...). But yeah, I felt the dual class system is just there for show at the moment (secondary class don't get important stuff, such as gaining the ability to use certain weapon or armor type..., and I don't like that =/), it's not really helping much except giving you more skills for grind (or PvP, I have heard claims that this game has pretty good PvP, but who knows I don't even like PvPing, lol. PvPing is just clicking the right button at the right time, it's not like there is a seige system yet). So yeah. Don't let me stop you from trying though, the housing system is kind of interesting... for example you can place your storage box on the wall, etc. lol. Plus this game is still changing as it is absorbing ideas from players and such, so... maybe give it some time?

Ah~ You are in the center of confusion. Relax chill~ I can advice you somethingz.

There are many many more mmorpgs. Some fit your taste for sometime, some you are curiousand some you dislike though you never tried and it goes on~

But there's one thing to know, choose one you can settle with satisfactory. For you see after a period of time the game will turn not fun, it will be like a daily chore, but it is every mmo players think it's worth doing.
