taking up biochemistry. not really interested. but dad's pushing me to take the course up for medschool. a bit interested in that thanks to grey's anatomy and house.

but i'm going to shift to another course this coming semester anyway. taking up organizational communication. THAT i really want.

Better idea. Do what you like. You dad probably wants you to become a doctor for the money anyway.

You can become a doctor just like your dad said(probably for the money).
Then you can support a really hot women(because that's socially acceptable) who will leech off your hard earned money because she is too stupid to get a job herself.

Seriously, go with what you wanna do and accept the lower salary (40k maybe). I am a guy going into teaching which is not socially acceptable. My wife will have to work. However, I don't want some wife leeching off my salary. Pet's dont' work. I don't wanna pet. I want a wife.

i mean, i spent 3 years in biochemistry appealing that dad lets me transfer to organizational communication, and though i only have 1 year left in biochemistry til i graduate, i still chose to transfer and go back to scratch just for the course that i want.

i really want to take up something related to communications because i really like writing, talking, and going around for promotions since that's what i have been doing for orgs since high school. want to have a career in advertising and/or media.

I going for medical assisting but I don't know I really don't wanna go to college right now because I'm not sure if I wanna do it. I made a rush decision because I felt like I was being rush and my mom really want me to go to college. so much pressure and if I don't go to college right now wtf am I going to do either way I fell like I'm screwed.

I graduated with a degree in Biology and Biochemistry, great and all, but completely unnessecary. I'm going to be taking a two and a half year course to be a medical lab tech which didn't need the degree (many jobs in medicine don't, check your tech schools). The degree allows for quick promotion and opens up other oppurtunities mind you.

I might add that I really REALLY don't want to be in school right now...but theres certain factors that are keeping me in.

I don't get child support anymore unless I'm a full time student for one.

And second, I can't be covered under my fathers health insurance unless I'm a full time student. And last year we found something out, and I've gotta go to the doctors a lot now.

I guess a degree will look good on my loan slip to open up a shop.

-How old are you? I think they cut the support at age 18.
