I'd be expecting them to not have legs if they're going in my back door.. 3 large dogs that do not take well to strangers in the night. Anyway I'd call 911 and hope I can sneak up on them/do things and pray they don't have a gun. I know its stupid to sneak up on them, but I have a family and I'd rather take the intruder out and get hurt than to let them get a good line on anyone else/ make them a hostage.

EDIT: Oh yeah, if they came in the front I'd let my dogs come in and it'd be on. You're in my damn house and you intend to steal from/harm me? Yeah right, you're not gonna get away that easily.
