So it's been about....forever since I last played World Of Warcraft, and was thinking of loading it up again on my system. Problem is, I've only very limited access at home and although I have the big 5-CD box set for the main install, I'm not sure I can download the inevitable 5 Gb worth of updates since I paid for my copy.

Anyone got any ideas apart from buying a more up-to-date version? Is there some kind of super-patch out there that I can dl at work and burn to DVD?

You can manually update by downloading every patch =/

Hm well i do the Install as you download stuff at the site for all 3 of my computers and doesnt take me that long.

I've managed to blag a certain amount of free minutes on a public access server near me. It should be enough to play, but it will probably use up my entire months supply if I have to wait for it to download at 30kbps

Wow there 30kps dude you need better internet. I can download everything starting in the afrternoon and going till about 10pm with all the expansions and patches. 30kps is not going to make wow playable on your computer...

The router should give me speed as I need it, it's just limiting my downloads.

i have the 4cd version of tbc, but i was able to put the files from the 4cds to one folder and run from there without having to change the discs

so you can try that

also if you have tbc and/or wotlk you can install those with it and skip the wow/ and tbc patches as those are included with the disc
