Never got in AoC but some people here do like it. But it's not a surprise the game was having problems. Not to mention the hype was ridiculous. Any game hyped so much could very well suffer the same fate.

I still say they half-assed the game. Tortage(the starter place) was very amazing. It had a nice quest, backstory, and story-line. However, once you got to about lv 20, the characters stopped talking, the quests got duller, there was less intuition all together. Then at 80, the bosses were very hard at first and the only way to beat them was by glitching. Then they made them easier to kill by releasing some things. Never got on par with endgame content though. Needed some extra polishing, and maybe I would still be playing.
