Default Which F2P game has the most detailed background/storyline?

Since I'm into reading about detailed fantasy worlds on an epic scale (currently reading Tolkien's "Children of Húrin"), I'm always looking for well developed worlds with detailed background stories to game in.

So far the most detailed background story in a F2P game that I have seen is the one for "Shadow of Legend". 5 long pages of world background (creation etc.) plus more than 10 pages chronicles with the chronological timeline.

(That's the main reason I've just begun downloading it...)

Anyway, which game do you think has the most developed and well-written background story?

Mabinogi ^^but you need to pay for story (its f2p game )
f2p games havent good storys .They focus gameplay (mostly its the first factor)

When i think about f2p storys ..hm cabals one? RoM (have more then one) ?
Domo? (dome have a good one with cutscenes)
9 Dragons have a nice Story about the History in the old china ( very good texts)

    and so on

I second Mabinogi. It has one of the most developed storylines to grace the F2P market.

Not Generation 1. As the stories become older, they become free. :>

Megaten, Imagine Online. Though the in game story isnt that long, the lore its based on, Shin Megami Tensei is pretty vast.

    Also, Mabinogi.

Runescape has a pretty vast lore as well, if you can endure its idiotic player base. Only way I really played was with a core group of friends.
