Planet 51 is an upcoming animated film directed by Jorge Blanco and written by Joe Stillman. Produced by Ilion Animation Studios. The movie follows Captain Charles “Chuck” Baker who lands on Planet 51 thinking he’s the first to set foot on it. However, he discovers it’s inhabited by little green people who live in a white picket-fenced world reminiscent of 1950s America. LEM, a young resident on Planet 51 who is fascinated by space and the world outside, will help CHUCK try to escape from the authorities, recover his spaceship and return him home safely.
