Other people dislike music because it's "overused." But...what music is not overused? Music has been around for a very long time. It's hard to be completely original in your selection. I've seen a common trend of people hating on Japanese music and Asian music because some people think the video creators just slap a japanese song onto their video without undestanding what it means. Well, how could that be a grounds for judgement when that person hating on the music doesn't know what it means either? As far as I'm concerned, music from foreign countries should actually be a rarity and something to be appreciated. It's interesting to see how people accept so little but expect so much.
Before you type that hater comment on a video to trash on the music or close a YouTube page because the song is horrible, try this:
Think. Why is it that this song annoys me? Why this song, for this video, at this moment? Do I really have reason for hating it, or am I just supporting other stereotypes that were created by others than myself?
The main point of my thread was to ask people...just why, why do people have such low tolerance when they can't even understand what their own ears like and dislike?
I'd like to continue the discussion from these topics while including the poll.
