skate 2
skate 2 is an awesome game, just got it yesterday.
It plays much like the first, but the online is much better. It's easier to get into and offers a lot of activities.
The off-board is very sluggish, but you'll be skating most of the time. It's useful to be able to get off of your board to walk up those damn stairs.
Anyways, send on your gamertags if you have skate 2 and are playing it. I want to join up with you guys. List will be updated here.

downloaded the demo and so far its not that much better than the first
maybe worth a rental but just stick with the original Skate.

Yeah, I was trading in shit at Ebgames(same shit as gamestop) and found out I needed ID and shit. Had to get my brother to come down to trade in games =/GameStop was being homo today, so nothing went as planned. Looks like I've got to get a parent to buy it for me since I can't trade things in until I'm 18.
Yes, the walking is pretty bad but it shouldn't put you off too much, if at all. It's better than not being able to get off of your board. There's much to be desired, but I like that it actually looks like your using the stairs, instead of floating on them while performing a running animation.
I like Danny's megaramp thing. I was doing hall of meat with my bro and then I glitched, so I SOARED across the map and got like, 79k points haha. Too bad I couldn't use the replay editor in party play

I didn't find the off-board too 'sluggish', but I never went off-board very long in the demo. It's definitely better than not having it at all since you can get up stairs and re-arrange things to make a better skating environment.

I keep playing the demo. I love all of the new shit, but the walking can get annoying, but it's useful.

Eh, playing Skate online isn't that much of a problem. It's more of a problem with LBP, which is funny.
