Chinese new year!

What are you guys doing for new year? Theres a festival in Austin tomorrow and me and some friends r going.

Thought Chinese New Years was on the 26th? Anyways, I'm volunteering at UMass on the 31st for the Vietnamese event for New Years. Tomorrow I'm probably celebrating with my family and getting red envelopes. ;P

Well, I'm not Chinese, so I don't celebrate it.
Thank god for Chinese New Year's though, it's a day off exams. ;D

I have lots of friends who celebrate it though, and so I already have lots of red envelops with money. ;O

one year i went to this festival and it was just asian people.
the next year, i guess they decided to put up flyers or something, and there were so many white people there, and a couple black people too xD

Kind of surprising that so many people from MA visit OnRPG.

No I lived near Umass, I go to college in Rochester now. I wish I was younger so people would give me money for Chinese New Year.

Sadly, I don't go to UMass. I go to Lowell High, still a high school student. I volunteer there ever since 8th grade as a tradition. Also for the volunteer hours, I think it counts for 10 hours or something like that. I like volunteering there so it's all good.

I hate Chinese New Year. I'm forced to visit my relatives whom I don't care for and they'll ask questions and I'll just be sitting awkwardly there in a corner of the room. It happens every year.

The only plus would be I get free money, that's all I guess.
