    Default Fallout 3

I was thinking about buying this since its made by the same people who made Oblivion which I'm still playing. How good is the game in your POV? What is the leveling system like? What weapons can you use? Also if your nice enough to share, can you tell me what is a great character build. Is there also mods that are good or in development that looks promising? Thanks for your opinion.

I like it. think of oblivion but as an FPS, with exp instead of having to train your skills.

though, "diehard fallout fans" think it's the worst thing ever created.

Can't offer a strict character build, but in terms of perks, go for things that give you damage bonuses, etc. because the perks that give bonuses to your skills are utterly useless. With a 10 Intelligence and the Educated perk, you get 23 skill points per level. That's more than you'll need, trust me.

The game, in my opinion, is awesome. A friend of mine let me borrow it for 360, and a few days later I bought it for computer. (I just like playing games on my computer better :/) I don't regret it either.

It reminds me of Resident Evil/Oblivion Post-Apoclayptic.

I mean, damn. Some of the things in this game has made me jump.

I got assaulted by a Death Claw right outside of some Wal-Mart (Super Mart) and I literally jumped out of my chair.

I rather thought Oblivion was easier to navigate/grasp. I mean Fallout 3 if you are out of bullets and aren't a melee/unarmed type of fellow, your doomed.

(Unlike Oblivion, fast travel is actually pretty useful, considering Fallout 3's map is quite large)

Its fun game but the main storyline is rather quik. But if you do all the side quest and go looking for all the special items itlle take awhile. your probly need to make 2-3 types of characters to get all them fun out this game. though on computer i dont think youll have to make but 1 character with the mod's.
Take educated perk and right off the bat take 9 int run to rivet city go to science room and get your intelegence bobble head so youll have capped
"10"intel for maximum skill points.i also recomend getting perk that makes skill books give 2 skills point instead of 1. theres like 20-25 skill books of each skill you can get besides lvling and putting up on the skill.if you plan on being melee/unarmed paralyze palm and ninja perk is a must. also certain stat point you can put to 8 and get 2 extra stat point from side quests or items in game. each stat point has bobble head"gives 1 stat point" so u never have to put them up to 10 to begin with. str you only need to put it to 8 becouse theres quest for another stat point in it. luck also has side quest for extra luck. on all my character i take 8 luck and cap it with bobble head and side quest becouse critical rate is amazing. also always take finesse perk.

Fallout 3 is rly good at first I was confused bout whole things(big maps, many mobs to fight, no ammos...etc) But later i explored and I was "good" guy (before that i was bad guy means i killed everyone, stealed everything, blow up 1st place...)so imo if ur new go to main quest as "good" guy with +karma.
Bout game itself is nice weapons are good looking for me, monsters are great aswell so is main quest but if u do side quests it can take some time and its great. I just don't like idea at fallout 3 that when u finish game u completly finish it u cant play anymore unless going from start...
