I think it's also 'bum rushed' as somebody said, because it's open beta. The lag will clear up in a week or so That's why I'm not playing.

I think I prefer starting later and coming in with a new batch of players. The economy has had time to straighten out and the newbie areas are less populated.

However, if there is still lag by then or in even two weeks, I just won't play. If CM had a server that never lagged for me, like hell I'll play on one that lags like this. There is no possible way I can play in wars with that kind of lag on top of the normal server slowdown in such situations.

It's already Officially released, not OB. And waiting until those other players (Br, Ph, Ch, Kr) get IP banned might sound like a better plan though.

It's released already? Hmm, I wouldn't know; haven't checked the site in a few days.

Still, this server strikes me as odd, even if there's going to be IP bans. I don't like a lot of the things the devs have done with the game, like the returneee weapons for example. And this strange lag is horrible compared to the 'little or no lag' I had with the other server. I won't hold my breath.

I haven't lagged at all actually.
I lagged in the old CM version but this ones pretty stable.
