I just got my AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ in the mail and the processor fit right into my dell dimension e521 but my problem is the fan that comes with it has 4 pins and my motherboard has 5 pins. I searched my motherboard so many times for a 4pin slot but couldn't find one. So where do i go from here? I heard there were connector things which allow you to plug in the 4 pins from one side and 5 pins from the other?
TECH CORNER FFS. And I don't quite know what you're trying to say, can you provide pics? What do you mean by pins? what motherboard? oh and is it AM2 or 939?
