You only get what you put in. That said, a couple weeks worth of this type of work is just about right, if not exemplary for a beginner.

Tutorials help alot and Zormax, the thing is, you can ask people for help, add me on MSN or AIM, Don't go and make a whole sig and then post it.
also before you want to go and make some big changes, always save a PSD.
But yeah, I usaully make a rough draft of what I want, THEN i go and make the extra alterations and changes.

Serix u need to chill out,and not dis other peoples work ok.Because my dad is an artist and he said all your work is not good at all.And quite frankly most of us here agree about it.And for starters the shakira sig you have is not even close to nice.Add some c4d effects,ad maybe some nice lighting and u could have a good sig.
And dont bother talkn back to me,cuz i am a paid Graphix designer as well,I do admire your good sense of creativity and judgment but please do keep your unwanted thoughts in your head for future evaluation.

You should read the comment again smart thing.Because i specificly said i admire your keen eye and sense of GFx design.But you need to calm down a little and not thinky our top dog around here.Because its not true at ALL!

don't underestimate sigs.

They're the only reason why I'm already a paid graphic designer and why my portfolio is looking so good.

Honestly, lay off text effects.
Never use a serif text in a sig.
Make your canvas proportional to your render shape that way the render can cover a minimum of 40% of your sig.
When using a border, don't go over the 3px mark.
When using custom brushes, use layer modes such as soft light or overlay and delete/burn/dodge the parts that are either straight up fugly/over darkened/overtightened.

I'd give out help on msn, but i'm too lazy to do it unless i really like you.

i never saw serix's work emazing , i saw it great as the next person here on onrpg. he is still a bit more in knowledge when it comes to gfx though :-)

but i remember people like halfblack or rai had/has some emazing shit back then/still (o-O)
