If I were to name a game before Mabinogi that actually has most of its features but toned down.. it'd be Runescape.
But you probably wouldn't believe me anyway.

Runescape has....
-Lots of Non-Combat skills.
-No Classes.
-Lots of armor/clothes/gear.
-Lots of content & updates.
-No Downloads.
Some Stories Are Just Way Better In My Head!
Why is that funny? He's right, gameplay wise, Imagine/Megaten is the closest thing to mabinogi. It plays the same. Just doesn't have all the extra things to do like farming and crap. Clothing, combat system and general gameplay wise, Megaten is like a less kiddy version of Mabinogi.
It's the lack of trade skills that make the game that much more uninteresting. I remember in runescape, almost anything could be combined with anything else to make something of greater value. Like flour with water to become dough, and dough with the fishes caught with a net to make a seafood pizza.
Some people find those skills appealing. It also adds a new depth to the game, more so than grinding monsters over and over.
Hence, I beg to differ. 'Farming and crap' does not equate to 'kiddy'. And is thus why the OP wants to find a similar game.

In that sense, yeah. He is correct. I believe strongly in tradeskills however.![]()
