Blizzard Turns Diablo III Into A Miniature Wow!
The artists over at blizzard need to be hung drawn and shot!
This game is just a mummyfied version of wow characters with changes to the models!
I mean I'm a Diablo fan through and through!
Seeing these screen shots has made me examine them and all I can see is wow's Shitty Disney artist's! Its shamefull!

Diablo was a life upon itself! It had originality and original graphical style!

Blizzard are so wrapped up in wow graphics they had to implement it into the most sort after game on the internet Diablo 3!
what hell are they thinking?
You have to be blind not to see it!
I played wow and have the game played in my home.

Blizzard Are trapped in wow and they just can't get out of it!
This is proof!
The greatest game they ever had they forgot about!

They should of followed it in a professional manner and kept up with the diablo expansions 2 yearly, not a decade +!

The evidence shows that the artists they have are all from disney art schools!
They just don't know how to change!
The ones they had for diablo are either lost or brain washed into disney styles
still working with blizzard!

It so pays to be independent artist and free of constraints!
Unlike those poor suckers entrapped in the disney world of Blizzard!

I hope for god sake Richard Garriott doesn't join Blizzard!
If he does! I say for god sake change Blizzards ways!
This is speculated in some press releases

I know this thread doesn't belong here but a point has to be made about this and this place is a good as any with so many other crap threads being created here ! move it! if need be!

ooooo a game with violence im sure to try this out....(why is this weird to me? well i been playing too many tuty fruity games so seeing violence is like the reincarnation of jesus to me)
Anyways....Im loving the screenshots.

Also that subzero chick pwns...(even though its not ice shes like a ranged psylocke,So many plasma atks)

played WoW from the release then i stoped and now i play different f2p and some other p2ps but you fail so much with that idea ^^Diablo 3 have graphical nothing to do with WoW .Do you know something about the engine? i think no...

d3 does resemble wow in a lot of ways actually

Omg it does, it looks very cartoony with the same textures/modeling as WoW.

Well I won't be playing/buying/downloading this now, thanks for letting me know x..x

The reason diablo was so awesome was the feel of it was gruesome and bloody not strange fat purplish zombie guys with oversized stitches and a strange head -.-

Btw the reason it looks so much like that is because all of the original diablo people have left blizzard aka flagship studios which is now dead I believe so all that is left is the people who designed warcraft series.

it feels more like a console/arcade game actually than a d1/d2 type game

from the trailers, you can pick up health gems that instantly restore health >_> What happened to saving up on pots?

meh, looks like a mix of d2 and wow, didnt they like hire an entire new team of developers for d3 anyway?

ill give it a try, without any expectations

the most part of the game is so different designed..i think you all are too much geWoWed ..its just like a virus.Thread poster is right when he said that blizz got crazy with their WoW but come on...diablo is a different world and Blizz isnt so stupid like you think.

Hummm I didnt see any resemblance between WoW and this...

Btw how does an art style mean a game is the same O.o?

Since WoW runs on a lot of computers even really old ones i bet they wanted to try keep a style that wouldnt mean people without gaming machines could not play.

I never played diablo for that long but i thought it was great. If you guyz are going to drop gameplay for graphics then fine.

Dunno how the barbarian dude looked anything like a WoW character but each to their own.....each to their own....

I honestly don't care how it looks, as long as the gameplay is Diablo. Hell I still play Diablo 2 once in awhile and those graphics are 800x600 res (only with the expansion lol), so I'm just happy to have Diablo 3.

Graphical upgrades do not mean that the game is getting more "WoW-like", it simply means they actually care about the appearance of their game.

Yes, a lot of D2 graphic developers jumped ship (which is when they started doing progress on Mythos, which I suppose is what a lot of people expected D3 to look like) so there is a bunch of things that will most likely be changed, but hopefully they will be minuscule. The reason it looks similar to WoW is because, of course, they pull a lot of people from their WoW graphic team to work on D3, cutting production costs.

(as always, these are similar to pre-alpha/alpha displays, it is by no means a completed product)

This isn't all that bad though, it could be worse then this, I'm just glad they didn't go for the all cartoony cute style.

I think the Gameplay will have a bigger impact than the graphics (although those who don't like the graphic style most likely wont play it)

With all the money Blizzard's making, WoW II should redefine every genre all combined into one and raise the bar to an unreachable plateau of quality. ;/ It won't though, but at least I have Diablo III to soak up my tears. ;'o Art-style schmart-style, let me kill some stuff online with people and I'll be okey dokey in the pokey.

perhaps a mmorpg from their other games or the create something new but they will never make a second one.Thats clear and logical

Hey, never say never. ;/ A new blockbuster title could come out and blow WoW's subscriber base out of the water, forcing Big Blizzy to pull out the big gunz and release WoW II. Or there could be a sex scandal in the Blizz hierarchy causing their stocks to plummet down in the depths of despair until they rise like a phoenix from the ashes with *ahem* WoW II.

;o They could also have a Jesus complex and release their secret side project they've been working on, an action title continuing the lore W-craft by the name of WoW: The Second Coming. Maybe after some of these very likely circumstances, WoW II might become "clear and logical". ;/ Ehh? Ehhhh?

this discussion is kinda old, there was a mass petition about it and some community rage, in the end the devs responded that this is the art direction blizzard is taking but im lazy to find that post
