My mum had the same problem; it's not an infectious virus [lolirony]
I mean, it won't damage your computer. It's a scam, to make you buy this 'antivirus'.
Once you buy it, money's out of your account, and pouf, there goes the ads. Of course, that's not to say they won't come back.
Not entirely sure how we got rid of them, but I'll find out tomorrow.
