    Grand Theft Auto San Andreas is sort of an rpg u get weapon skills muscle and even fat lol i And also remember that its a free roaming game were u can drive around get cops after you and buy weapons and clothes if u buy it for pc theres mods that can make it online, a superman mod that lets fly and many more mods here if u wanna see what its like watch this youtube videos.

    well there isnt any single rpgs what i like i like more such as Adventure Quest thats fun when ur high

    Please I hope not, Diablo is a fine action/adventure game, but an RPG it is not and never has been. and I do not care what the makers call it, I could make a motorbike and call it an aeroplane, but would that make the motorbike fly???? hmm?

    Dwarf Fortress needs to be on that list. Best game ever IMO.

    Exclamation The Flashbulb Madness RPG

    It's a very polished and original console/retro freeware, single player fantasy RPG that took many years to develop. The game is 42 megs and is worth discovering for its presentation and its gameplay features. It got me addicted for several days.

    It should. It runs fine on Snes9x and as far as I know, Zsnes and Snes9x are virtually the same in terms of performance.

    Also, the FF game for the DS was a remake of an older FF. :P It was released on the DS because it was never released on the Snes in America.

    Well,if you wanna go illegal,you can get Final Fantasy 7,8 and 9. You could download GameTap and get Sacred Gold or Deus Ex. I'm also looking for a good low spec RPG.

    It has a bizarre sense of humor alright, also i would recommend downloading 1.13 or 1.14 (not 1.14 fix 3 to 5 or 1.16 as they are unstable) but some quest's are not translated in 1.13 that's why i suggest 1.14

    Also note that the game is Translated from Japanese so make sure you actually select English on start-up (it's not the default) pretty much everything is translated but there are a few loose ends (that do not affect playability just thing's that are almost exclusively thing's you would not be interested in to begin with)

    Bethesda have released TES II: Daggerfall for free download. In a post on the Bethesda Blog, Matt "Gstaff" Grandstaff says that the release is to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the TES series, just as the free download of Arena released five years ago was intended to celebrate the series' 10th anniversary. The download is available here. Bethesda have provided a guide to running the game under DOSBox, or you could try our own guide.

    Just registered. Just finished my final exams - now I can get back into RPGS

    Anyhow, any unique games with a class system like in FF? Looking for unique features to, for example an alternative way to progress other than leveling your character. I've played Ahriman's Prophecy back a few years - have to say it is one of the best freeware RPG ever.
