I have experienced black ice, but not to the amount in the video. However, considering most of the cars in the vid continue to throttle their engines, bouncing themselves around like pinballs shows a sign of either ignorance to a fact or stupidity. Any sane person should have just shut off the engine and accpet the fact that the road was too unsafe to drive on. Not to mention all of the legal violations of colliding with cars without providing a phone number of contact for insurance reasons.
While Texas doesn't have roads freeze over as bad as that, we have freak ice storms. One day it'll be 90 degrees outside (in the Winter), the next day hail will fail, sleet will blaze the roads, and if it weren't for the salt trucks working through out the night, the roads would be undriveable.
