It wouldn't be too bad if the animals weren't still alive on the plate.

The snake wasn't, that's just the nerves in his body (kinda like when you break a worm in 2)

But the fish clearly was alive...

I'm so sorry for that fish
Snake was ok, but ... doing that all to that poor fish.... gosh
    It feels same as us...
That's like being bite by some huge beast, recive couple of open deep wounds, then be thrown on a boiling oil for a few seconds and then left on a floor with some crap over your whole body...
    Then... finally...being slowly eaten ...

    Spare that fish !
    Kill it first !

that snake was ****ed up man, seriously its still freaking moving.

also, i wouldnt enjoy having my skin scraped off and then being eaten alive whilst im still gasping for air with my dying breath.

then again if i grew up in china and ate live animals everyday i wouldnt care.

Like live animals? You bite living cattles or running chickens?

I find a lot of your comments pretty funny.

Did y'all know that on fish, the movement of the gills is a nervous reaction? The fish can't stop it, as it doesn't control it. The fish most likely died from the shock of the oil. (I had a cat once [sad story] were a TV feel on him and cracked his head opened. Even though he was dead, his body still tried to breath [crap, now I remember the horrible cat scream.]) Anyway, even though the fish looked like it was alive, that was merely his nervous system trying to keep itself alive.

Also, do you know how chickens were killed in the past for food??? The butcher would pick the chicken up by the neck and swing it around until the nerves in the neck severed and killed it. Why? Killing it with poison would taint the meat, shooting it with a gun would leave a bullet in the meat, blow the chicken to pieces, or in the case of lead bullets taint the meat. Why did they not just cut off the head??? Because you wouldn't have been able to get the chicken to hold still long enough.

The truth is, we treat those animals no different than they treat their prey. The prey suffers a painful death, maybe for a split moment.

Most man made methods of killing animals cause the animal to suffer a unnecessarily painful death. Like how they slice open pigs while still alive. As you said before in most cases when an animal kills its prey it doesn't suffer as long as it would if a human did it. I'm not PETA fan but IMO causing unnecessary even to being viewed as lower than us is cruel (I understand it's their culture but it still seems a bit much.)
