As for the point of life, from a biological perspective: Have babies that have babies (please don't do this, kids are annoying). For sentient beings, make up your own point for life.
As for people not being afraid of dying, I sure am. There is a quote that summed it up perfectly, something like, 'Life is enjoyable, death is peaceful, it's the transition that is worrisome'.

...my view on life...hmm.....just live life...in the end you'll be buried or burned or w/e you do with your body....death i dont fear it, afterlife i dont concern myself with it...what happens happens, for now just gotta get my laughs in and help pave the road for future generations
to be honest in todays society babies are way more tolerable than adults are
