My computer... (sorry for wrong section. This one is faster)

Alright, after that 4chan shit last night.
I dunno if I clicked any links, dont remember, but then I got emails, msn messages from em. It was funny hell.

I decide to leave my comp to go talk to my girlfriend, as half of you dipshits thought I was talking to my mom. Alright, I'm through that. Neways, I'm on my bed talking to her, and then I realize my loud *** computer went silent.
Now. I don't KNOW wtf happened, but I notice the power button on my monitor is flashing. The power button on my computer is a solid green, but the restart button (red) is missing. Not as in It was taken out, but the lights weren't glowing.

I try to move the mouse, press the sleep button, all that junk. Nothing.
SO now I have a computer that turns off every 1-2 hours.
Anyone got any tips?
I need this shit to be fixed soon because I have ASSIGNMENTS UP THE *** which I need to do and I can't be bothered finding out exactly WHEN the comp will shut up. That'll make me paranoid and force me to save my work every couple minutes.

i would say your hardware is not cool anymore..make a speed check to see if the system or the graphic card is overheated .
when this isnt your prob...you have something like a virus ^^ reboot?

My computer worked fine before last night.
My hardware is like.2003 shit. It sucks.
But I don't even play games on this crap, I use my labtop for that.

It's not very plausible after all, i didn't really say you were wrong, in any general expectable case you are right, just that there are methods.

I knew a guy who used to fry his own boxes with a self made virus in the 90s, but the reason you don't see it in the general virus bunch is, once the box is dead, it can't spread the disease.
You can't exactly fry a modern box that easy because of all the safety measures, so it would just turn off frequently.
Getting the same effect with some scripted routine is easier, so there is really no point to doing such stuff anymore.
