    Me too.

The classics are supposed to be classics. Nothing else.

i had to read that like three times and im still not to sure what you are trying to say.

anyways remakes arent bad per-se, but alot of them either tend to be rushed or a bit naff in order to maximize profit on a tired franchise (T3 is a good example) or they are good but fail to live up to the "original" and so people slate them, kind of like alien 3.

but id rather see a movie set in the HL2 universe than one set in the GoW universe.

about the remakes ...i think the remakes will kickass if they just do them right...like the remake for texas chainsaw massacre...or amityville horror...those were 2 kickass remakes....and about movies based on video games....i wish they can just make 1 good one...just 1 is all i ask for

I just about shat my pants when I heard they were thinking about remaking Fight Club and Scarface.

I will lose all hope in humanity if that ever happens.

It's not even about whether or not they should be touched, but why would anybody think they need remakes anyway, you know?

Oldboy doesn't need a remake, Friday the 13th didn't need a new movie. Fair enough, The Day the Earth Stood Still etc are old movies and there're a lot of cool things you can probably do with the story and effects today to make it a greater experience.

However, Fight Club? Oldboy? They don't need remakes, there's nothing about them that needs remaking.

They're remaking Hellraiser without Doug Bradley as Pinhead, so I've heard.

This is an additional travesty simply because he has said he'd do it.
