    Default Whats this Cable O.o?

Well, I had a good monitor, And it failed, So i bought a new one, Now i notice the old monitor had this cable plugged in it. The one side was plugged in the monitor and the other one in the PC. Does anyone know what these do?
Cause the new monitor doesnt have a hole to plug it in, And i also noticed that i can only hear sound with my earphones or speakers, So i guess it has something to do with sound :S

    Heres a picture of it

The expert stuff is learning what a mouse is and how to play cd/dvds.

The OP is so intelligent that I have to explain things in extra detailed steps.
Sorry bud, Where did i state ''Where do i plug it in''.
I just asked what it was for, And what its function is.

    ....dam your dense.

it's the same jack you plug one into the back of your monitor and the other goes into your tower where the headphone jack goes.

see the one that is the audio cable it use the same size as a headphone jack. Don't mind the other cords they are too complicated for you.

and then there is the headphone jack, wow they look the same.

don't be too hard on him.

I am guessing by his avatar that he is around 12-15 years old.

He has plenty of time to learn about computers if he wants to.

It's a friendly advice, which only uses harshness, to make sure it get's ****ing memorized, before stupid pointless shit like this ever happens again.
